POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing proactive leadership regarding the overall success, management, and sophistication of the sales team.
*Exciting Details:*
*Pay: *$140,000.
00 to $175,000.
00 annually with 35% Sales Incentive Plan (SIP)
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Leads day-to-day sales and commercial activities.
* Coach and develop sales team of 3 to 10 individuals.
* Review and ensure all the account plans are current and being executed according to the plan.
* Resolve customer concerns and issues.
* Lead local proposal development and customer conversion.
* Provide market intelligence on customers and industries.
* Develop new account objectives to maintain/grow volumes while increasing margins.
* Provide managerial leadership and directs the selection, supervision and evaluation of staff.
* Conducts performance appraisals for direct reports.
Initiates salary actions and disciplinary actions as warranted.
* Provide training and motivation to make use of individual capabilities.
COMPETENCIES:
* _Monthly GM$ Responsibility__*:*_ $750-1250k__
* _Management & Coaching:_ Consistently ride along with the team and participate in sales calls to provide feedback and mentorship.

* _Pipeline Management:_ Hold regularly scheduled 1:1s and pipeline reviews with team__
* _Account Plans:_ Ensure account plans are developed and maintained on 100% of strategic accounts __
* _Sales Process/Selling:_ Establish clear deployment plans and ensure 100% of accounts have coverage at all times.
* Oversight will be inclusive to Denver, Williston, Casper, Rock Springs, and Naples.
*OTHER FUNCTIONS:*
* Special projects as requested.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+years of progressively responsible experience in a similar industry, at least 5 years at a manager level.
* Minimum 5 years’ industrial experience in product marketing preferred.
* Experience and knowledge of hedging strategies and international commodity markets is a plus.
* Experience and knowledge of truck, rail, barge, and ship logistics is a strong plus.
* Able to develop goals and objectives and to implement critical and complex planning activities.
* Establish credibility and be decisive while able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities.
* Be results and people-oriented and balance other business considerations.
* Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
EDUCATION:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience required.
*Working Conditions:*
* This position requires working in an office setting, with long periods of time sitting.
* Must be able to stand, bend, push, and pull at least up to 10 lbs.
