Denver International Airport emerging talent positions are required to attend all sessions of professional development within the cohort model.
You will be onboarded with a cohort of peers to begin to help you develop your network across the aviation industry.
With the Marketing & Communications Team you will experience: The Social Media Intern will assist with social media including photo, video and creative needs of Denver International Airport (DEN) through planning, executing, and collaborating with the Manager of Marketing and Branding, Integrated Media Producer, and Digital Marketing Specialist.
The Social Media Intern will be responsible for planning, capturing, editing, and delivering photos and videos to support DEN’s social media strategy and messaging, in addition, the intern will also be the “official photographer/videographer” of the DEN 2024 summer internship program.
As a result of working as the Social Media Intern, the student will help build up a robust portfolio of written content, photos and videos.
As an intern you will have the opportunity to: Work with the marketing team and other teams as identified to capture photo and videos at events or partner shoots and edit high quality short-form video for all platforms.
Act as the official photographer/videographer for the DEN 2024 summer internship program and other programs as identified.
Help manage social media DMs, comments, track social media mentions and assist in data analysis and content strategy.
Write engaging short-form copy for social media, including reel scripts and captions that capture DEN’s brand voice.
Create a capstone video project that will be used on social media and YouTube to recruit future interns.
About You Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics: A current student seeking a bachelor’s in Marketing, Photography, Videography, Art/Design or a related field.
Experience in writing content, capturing video and photos and creating reels for social media.
Experience with a DSLR camera and/or Canon equipment experience is a plus.
Ability to plan, shoot, produce, and edit video content in various formats with an emphasis on social media.
Experience with photography and videography techniques including lighting, audio/video, editing preferred.
Knowledge and experience with Adobe suite and/or video editing apps.
Interest in aviation a plus Minimum Qualifications: Education Requirement: Current enrollment in an accredited college program leading to a certificate, licensure, associates, bachelor’s, or higher degree in, or a recent graduate (completed specified program within 1 year of completion).
Experience Requirement: None Education and Experience Equivalency: No substitution of experience for education is permitted Additional required documents that must be submitted at the time application to be considered for this position: Transcripts – either official or unofficial; dated within your current academic term.
This is only used to verify amounts of credits; grades will not influence decision.
Must submit a link to an online portfolio of original photography and videography work, or upload 2-3 examples (social media posts, reels, professional photography, short form videos, etc.
) to your application in order to be considered for this internship Location The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model with a required minimum 3 days in office.
Employees work where needed to support business, at the Denver International Airport.

Internship Duration and Hours: This is a 6-month college internship with a completion date of December 31st, 2024 with a max of 39 hours a week.
