The Adams County Parks, Open Space & Cultural Arts Department is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and assist in bringing the County’s Vision - Adams County is the most innovative and inclusive county in America for all families and businesses; and the Department’s Vision - To significantly enhance quality of life, enrich communities & INSPIRE! - to life.
If selected, you will manage all marketing efforts, social media presence, and collaborate with the leadership team to better support the activities of the Parks, Open Space & Cultural Arts Department.
This includes but is not limited to providing support to various planning efforts for the department, working to promote the Adams County Fair and other Community events, supporting each division of the department to include but not limited to Park Rangers, Cultural Arts, Open Space CSU Extension and 4H.

Examples of Duties for Success
Develops, coordinates, and implements diverse and inclusive marketing and public relations programs designed to maximize the utilization and revenue from POSCA facilities, programs, and special events
Champions, cultivates, and oversees Riverdale Regional Park’s “customer ?rst” organizational approach for internal and external customer service
Initiates and maintains strong and productive client relationship management strategies and tactics to ensure opportunities for investment in Adams County special events and facilities
E?ectively interfaces with both internal and external county sta?
Develops and implements, in close coordination with the Communications Department, a robust organic social and performance marketing vision and strategy
Works closely with Adams County Communications on all development e?orts to ensure proper branding of Adams County facilities and special events Provides support for the Department and CSU extension with website design and social media content creation
Partners closely with a dynamic, cross functional team and plays a key role in envisioning, planning, and managing inclusive, impactful, and e?ective special events
Produces campaign strategy insights and performance analysis to drive engagement and revenue
Drives audience growth; acquisition, retention, awareness, and a?nity for the brand through commerce opportunities, content, app downloads and usage, while using social and digital marketing across diverse and inclusive media outlets Partners with the Special Events Manager and Communications Department sta? on marketing budget, planning, and execution across all media platforms
Leads social and digital marketing e?orts across o?ine/online, paid social, SEM, programmatic, mobile/app, video/content and other emerging platforms, to create an engaging customer journey and marketing automation
Creates moment-based and always-on social media strategy to in?uence an inspiring culture
Establishes and manages test-and-learn plans to continuously optimize media investments
Supports Department community outreach e?orts in support of capital projects or other county initiatives
Qualifications for Success
Expertise in advertising, marketing technology and, campaign optimization
Proven ability to utilize qualitative and quantitative data to develop actionable insights, and a thorough understanding of cross-channel attribution
Ability to think strategically across the short-, medium- and long-term marketing vision, diverse consumer segments, and impactful goals
Thoughtful, collaborative work ethic with strong communication skills and the ability to influence others
Experience working with Google, BING, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok and various demand side platforms (DSPs), and email service providers (ESPs)
Strategy minded, but still knows how to drive execution
Have a deep knowledge and understanding of advertising and marketing technology, emerging digital platforms, and offline/online marketing trends
Experience and deep understanding of engagement drivers across organic social media platforms, partners, and end users
More Qualifications for Success
Education: Equivalent combinations of education and experience, which would provide the required knowledge and skills, may be considered
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Experience:
5 years of experience leading and managing o?ine/linear owned & operated and all things digital (paid media, email, SMS, web/app push) across agencies or established brands and the areas of essential duties shown above
