Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic, friendly, and ambitious Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in taking our business to the next level.
In this position, you will be responsible for planning sales calls, prospecting, developing and securing relationships with small to large fleets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will work closely with the Branch Managers and other team members to deliver exceptional service and achieve sales targets.
Additionally, you will be expected to maintain accurate sales reporting using our system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales call plan and itinerary, making sales calls on existing and prospective customers
- Prospect, develop, and secure relationships with small to large fleets
- Follow up with customers to ensure their needs are met and maintain good customer relations
- Collaborate and communicate closely with team members to ensure customer satisfaction
- Instruct service department personnel regarding repair times, expedite parts orders, coordinate vehicle transport, and schedule appointments
- Keep CRM system updated and generate sales reports as needed
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor
- Travel up to 75% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in heavy-duty truck parts, service, and fleet sales
- Associate degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills with an outgoing personality
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Experience using CRM systems (a plus)
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- Versatility, flexibility, and a positive attitude towards changing priorities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
