From OME: The OME TUPELO Old-time banjo is made of air-dried North American Cherry with Ebony and features our shorter 25.
5” scale, wider 1.
34” nut width, and our 17-fret S-scoop fingerboard.
The 2-ply solid rim is 9/16” thick and is capped with black Ebonite and double-bound with a simulated Tortoise shell.
A varnish finish is hand-rubbed generously and then sealed.
The OME 12” Tone Rim construction combined with fewer brackets and wood rim-rod produce our “woodiest” Old-Time banjo tone.
