Guild D40 acoustic/electric (circa 2000) (Brighton)

I'm not a guitarist so sorry I cannot answer technical questions about the guitar.
I inherited it from my brother.
It came without strings (insert obvious pun).
I put strings on it and verified it plays but don't know if it plays well.
It sounds OK at least to me.
Did not check if the electronics work.
I don't know it's history but it has plenty of "character".
The date is just an estimate.
As the photos show there is lots of finish checking, surface scratches, dings, etc.
Comes with case.
